This procedure is aimed to straighten the nasal septum which serves as a wall between the two nasal cavities(passages). The septum consists of cartilage and a thin bone. The condition called deviated nasal septum occurs when the cartilage or the bone is not straight and is bent or crooked. A bent nasal septum can lead to difficulty in breathing and can also lead to sleeping disorders and also causes snoring.
The procedure is done under local anesthesia and the procedure can take 1-2 hours depending on the intensity of the procedure. Post surgery you are advised to take a break from your regular work schedule for at-least 3/4 days. Complications:-
